This is my last post on the blog and I'm  happy because also it ends with a part of my life as a student.

I never had a blog or other site to write on the Internet (from last semester I have one), because I enjoy writing (now, for example I have words X and I do not want to write more because I have a divine inspiration this type of task, the writing is not for me xD) or talking about my life experiences or talk something about my career in a public space, but not because I'm shy (maybe a little), I'd rather just talk face to face. For me writing is boring and so I could say I did not enjoy having a blog. Do you have a blog of English was worse for me, if you hate writing Its more difficult in another language that you don´t speak since kid.

I think the English like all languages need time to practice, now I'll have more time and I'll try. For example, when I wasn`t studying film still (in my second year off hahaha) I used to read many websites as New Musical Express, blogs, etc. In these kind of sites I learned a lot because the people who write notes or post them speak an English informal, closer to "real conversation". That year also watched many films, TV series and used to participate in a forum, so my English was good. And so I'll try to start again because I don´t remember things like vocabulary or grammatical rules, now.

Another objective or target to be done: pay attention or study more the british accent because I feel really lost when I hear it.

In this moment, I don`t use much English. Sometimes, when I have time I watch my favorite tv series, but I do not exercise to practice because I'm lazy or prefer to rest, and this would be.

I have no idea to improve the English programme, maybe ending the blog( xD) .... Truthfully, I think they (the teachers) should include more listening exercises.

Bye.

I don´t remember when it was the last time that I watched a movie, it´s because I don´t really have time to do it :(
but months ago I went with a friend to cine arte alameda and we watched (in the big screen properly!) Joven y Alocada by Marialy Rivas an independent director like everybody here in Chile.

This movie won some international prizes for example in the famous festival of Sundance(usa)and it´s travelled around the world...

This movie is a comedy, it´s about an open-minded girl called Daniela who is punished for her evangelical family because she was expeled of the school for "sexual stuffs" and her parents force to work in the evangelical channel, but in this place she meets two lovers, a boy and a girl.

The cast of the film is integrated of "famous" actors like Aline Kuppenheim who is the mom of Daniela, a hysterical character and maybe the only good-good perfomance (in my opinion), Daniela is a unknown actress, a newbie.

Joven y Alocada is a funny movie, because it´s exaggerate with the evangelical people and the religions and it shows the live of the  teens(blogs, internet)it´s a "visual" movie, with a lots of graphics and drawings etc and I like that. But it´s not "THE MOVIE",  it´s a good choice if you  have nothing to do because you´ll laugh.

The last local elections were my first time voting. I never did it before because I don´t know sure if I could it.

Now it´s different since it changed the laws about automatic registration and voluntary vote, all the Chileans (older 18 years old) have the chance to vote. I think it was a great change, a little step for get better “something” our political system. Another things to improve it´s the binomial but it`s more difficult because there are a lot vested interest.

The last 28th October I voted at the Estadio Nacional, the place biggest of voting.  I was a little lost because I was not sure about which it was my table and the people´s stadium said me  the tables in this opportunity(other thing important, because I think it´s stupid to differ  the tables between male/female) would be mixed.

I voted because I didn´t want other period of Sabbat in Ñuñoa, in my opinion 16 years like mayor it´s a lot (and my politics ideas are very far of that man) but I never thought the commune  would vote for the change, Sabbat is a “momio” like Labbé, the great loser of this elections. Sometime I think it´s gestating changes in the country, perhaps the students bring it and for that reason the right is losing public office.

“Maybe this time there was a low participation of the people” but I don’t consider true because it increased the population of vote. And if the people aren´t interested in voting it´s for something.

I think it would be difficult to find a someone exceptional, the greatest chilean of all the time??? but I´ll try my best....

One of most important business man of Chile is Leonardo Farkas, yeah maybe this sounds like nonsense but who can be forget this eccentric man and his curly blonde hair?

He has  become in a pop icon since he´s appeared in the teletón( I think so), also he was judge in the Festival Viña del Mar in its 50 years (2009) and he had the chance to sing with his piano on the stage, why that? ´cause when he lived in Usa where he worked as musician, he was known like one man band. His perfomance was very very well(forget that he sang out of tune and it was a weird perfomance and I laughed too much).

Always what happen something in the country he´s the first to help (of course with money, he´s a millionaire) like for example “the rescue of miners” or supporting to Tomás Gonzalez. For acts like these many people( as a joke of course) have wanted him to become the president of Chile (maybe It´would be better than the horror have been Piraña like president).

If I had the opportunity  I´d ask what´s on his mind?

He´s an eccentric person, he has his oddities or peculiarities but  I don´t consider him like the greatest chilean all the time but he brings a little of relax to this serious country.

He´ll always appear doing something weird or silly, giving bills, showing extravagance and his blonde hair or singing bad. (but lately he´s dissapeared
L)hahaha.
bye.

Today was the practise day of my final exam, I think the activities were fine because they were about the main when you´re learning a language: writing, vocabulary, listening and reading.
Buy there´s someting I don´t really like it is "to complete the sentences" because I think that you can complete with many words for example the letter to my dear friend James. I can´t considered just one option like correct.
The listening exercises always will be a great help to  everybody(the course) because I think it´s difficult to understand when we don´t have trained the ear. Other thing that I like this kind of excercise you need to pay attention because all the sentences you can listen but of course only one is the correct.
The vocabulary exercise was too easy, maybe the words was quite basic, it must be more difficult because our level is higher, I think so.
and the  reading exercises I have nothing to say...

Never I received something special, I think  (or maybe I don´t remember in this moment)...

but  when I was child the christmas and the time when I and my siblings received our presents were special (but it´s not for the gift). Never my parents put the presents around christmas´ tree, and we didn´t have one. Sometimes we(I and my siblings) thought that our parents didn´t love or they really forgot the chirstmas but, of course that´s not true, we were just  children and  they were different to plan "that",  when we talk about this holiday.

The presents always appeared five minutes before midnight or sometimes very later... so never we saw gifts around the house, often we looked for  it and we didn´t find something and we are sad or nervous. Once time I don´t know how they hidden our bicycles(the house didn´t have a big and closed space to do it)  or another time our  lovely nintendo 64.

Now, I´m older and maybe my parents did it because they wanted teaching to us that present are not the most important in this holiday, this is  just "a custom global" and these(presents) don´t have a big value. The essential about the christmas is enjoying with your family and close people.

And where are my christmas presents?
maybe the bicycle doesn´t exist... and my nintendo is alive yet :)

Before of studying film I was in architecture, why? because my score of psu was low and so I decided to be an architect... I was a year in Utem and the career I didn´t like so much because I think I didn´t have the skills for that, I have a respect for the architecture ( I  like design and decoration of spaces and places) and the knowledge that I learned I put it in practice yet, for example I would like to be art director ( the person who is charge of atmosphere in a film, design of spaces, colors, composition, etc).

My first day in architecture started good, we had a reception in the auditorium(with a lot of food, yummy!) and then workshop´s class( maybe the only subject that I liked because it was the most important and I learned a lot)but when it finished, it began the worst,"the terrible mechoneo".

The utem´s mechoneo is in another level compared to "la Chile"(it was a game of children), never I forget because our classmates of second year did what they wanted with us, shave head, cut hairs, cut socks, clothes, paint with stencil our t-shirt, shorts, they played with us and the worst of everything... we had 3!!!, 3 mechoneos!(3 times to get money) It was monday, wednesday and friday while the week passing, it was worse. The last mechoneo they cut our clothes one more time (  My friends and I could run away of the second mechoneo, in this moment we felt we´re the best we could escape of these men!!!  (h)hahahah )Friday was the famous "kiss the pig" while they threw rotten tomatoes, fishes, etc. And that was my first day-week at university.

Fiestas Patrias doesn´t matter for me,  I don´t like this kind of holidays and specially here in Chile. It´s cool having a week for rest but I think chileans are " little" (for not say quite) patriotic and this really disturbs me because I think The Patria doesn´t have a value, we are all equals (we think of the same way, we have same problems, we lived and live the same history, etc. and celebrating "the difference" or we are the best in the world it´s so stupid, and this is the ambient of this holiday)  and also because the independence of a country in Latinoamerica, it´s a joke.

Sometimes I think that a good idea would be exist the grinch and he steals the fiestas patrias like christmas or maybe I ´m becoming an ogre. I´m living in Chile for six year and I don´t used to "celebrate" the fiestas.

So I never went to a fonda or ramada because I don´t like red meat and barbecue(just eating), there are vegan fondas but I don´t interest visiting. All the activities around this holiday they are boring and places I would like to go they are closed.

And what I did in  this fiestas????
Nothing special, share with friends(maybe the only chilean thing that I did ,   drinking terremoto) and playing poker. Also it was my boyfriend´s birthday, so I spend my time resting and enjoying with him and my close people :)

Sorry for not answering questions, I can´t . This kind of holiday is not in my DNA , I prefer the christmas  :D

Hi,
today I´ll talk about about one of my  friends, He´s  Osmar and I met him since when I was a child, we lived in the same block with five house of difference and we went to the little school (kinder) too, until than I moved to Ecuador with my family. Then,  six years later we came back to my country and the neighborhood,  we(my siblings, Osmar and I)didn´t remember about our friendship because we´re very young ( I was 5 or my sister  2 years old) but my mom said Osmar and his sister always came to my house and we played all day. But this thing didn´t care because we started this frienship quickly.

Osmar is a nice man , he likes talking with people, everybody can be his friend, he`s always worried about you and if you need help he´ll is there. Maybe for that he decided studying laws, since we were teens (13-14), he´s been worked in an ong like Amnesty International(and others) and of course he invited me to participate there; now He´s one of the most important  man of the AI(been very young), with that Osmar had visited many countries for example Costa Rica, Belgium, Turkey, England, etc. And for those reasons he´s always busy working in many ongs. (hahaha)

Osmar and I we have many things of common, first we like helping people, the same sense of humor (ironic) and we share some ideas about the life and others things but about music our likes are very far.

Twice in the year, we see each other, he´s the first one in appearing in my house when my bro and I come back to Asunción(sometimes the day of we come), he brings ice cream and so starting the conversation and of course the games, we can play all night until at sunrise.

1st of january I was by a airplane coming back to Santiago because   the next day I had an exam, for me that was no funny, still in january in class, never I thought I´d be my birthday (21st jan) in class and without my family close to me … but it was the consequence of the strike where it was won nothing real for the education. The second semester of 2011-2012 was nasty for me because actually I didnt have  vacation. But month to month, the things  came back to be how it was.

This year in the university I learned a lot of things because 4th year is all about tv, for a while I thought I´d not learned  new something, the last couple of year was a repetition of the same, in my opinion.

Also this year I became a little lazy with sports, I played soccer or I ran  all the time, now the weather is better so I´ll try  again. 2012 brought many changes in my life like in other persons, 2012 have been a weird year for everybody who I know,   maybe because the end of the world or apocalypsis is coming and I ´ll be waiting on 21st of december, sitting in first row and expectant. :D

Santiago was  my favorite place where my family and I rested in our summer vacations when I was a child, also we visited other relatives in Buenos Aires and Asunción(I was born there) but  Santiago was  where  we spend more time enjoying.  This city had and still has many things that I like for example the weather, it´s not hot and damp compared to Asunción or Bs As (the temperature reaches 38º ) and when it starts the afternoon,  a good idea is going to a park or walk down the street because the wind will appear and the weather will turn nice.

The proximity between the city and the mountains or the beach is another advantage of Santiago, there are lots of places that you can go for a weekend but of course you need a high Budget and here it begins the stuffs don´t really like it,  this city is one of the most expensive of south america , having a good quality of life is restricted for fewer.  I think this is one reason why people have a bad humor or seeming that they live hurriedly.

If I could change something of Santiago would be the smog but it´s complicated because demolishing a mountain or to establish efficient enviromental laws, it´s very far of our means,    another thing would be public transport, especially the subway and its timetable.

Again, an advantage for the people who want to  know Santiago that main places are on alameda avenue,  the street cross all the city, so you can´t lost.  Don´t worry if you got up late  in this town , everything begins late!!! And of course  enjoy the sun until 9:00 pm .
