Hi, hi everybody, specially to my unconditional followers(xD):

Today I´m going to write/talk/ about music, one of my passion. If I had to choice my favorite band, I`d be complicated because I like two bands, and my love for them are unconditional, like my followers (pfff). Both I knew when I was a teen (12 years old), the first time I watched them in 2002 when Mtv was a music channel and its broadcast included videoclips.

Interpol, one of this. They´re from the big apple New York, city. They started their career in 1998 when part of the gruop meeting in the university (NYU). They have four LP and they play "post punk", "indie rock"(but they´re too mainstream, I don`t really like to put a category for the music, to me they´re just rock!). In the begining of their career they was compared with Joy Division, specially for the voice of the singer Paul Banks.

Maybe the reason because I like this band are for the melancholy, dark sound and for the first video "obstacle 1" ... I can´t stop watching Paul banks´moles and I liked so much the colours of the video, blue, black , all dark colors, except white. Obstacle 1 is not my favorite, favorite song, but it´s in my favorite album "turn on the brigth light" It´s so difficult choose one song to me.

THey came to Chile twice, I was there :)

The other band , is from Ny too, they are "The Strokes", they are "the handsome guys", all them. The Strokes appeared in 2001, so close to Interpol, and sometime people compare both band, same city and same time of appearance. They "play" indie rock, garage rock and they have four Lp too. The strokes I like sound of the guitar, and they have a "vintage sound" to me they came to other era, their first video (Last Nite) is like that. Maybe my favorite song are "the modern age" and "two kinds of happiness"  They were in Chile in 2005 but I didn´t live here and never came back :(

My autobiography

Hi everybody, my name´s Laura.I´m from Asunción, Paraguay and I´m 24 years old but I live since 2006 in Chile.   In my family are 6 members my parents(Rodolfo and Vilma),  my sister Sofia,  my brother Edwin and the dog called "simón".   Edwin and I don´t live with our parents because  we decided to study out of Paraguay, so twice in the year we are all together, winter and summer holiydays.

When I was a kid ,my family and I lived in Ecuador for my dad´s job, so I studied the elementary school there, then we came back to Paraguay and I finished the secondary. My family is always moving, for  work or  for example my parents met in Argentina when their families lived there, and now "the children" ( my bro and I) are doing the same.

I like film and for that I decided to move,  I wanna be a filmaker, I´d like to work making films, advertising or videoclip but specially in art director and maybe like screenwriter. Between a film or a videoclip I prefer watch videoclips because first since I was a child I watch a lot of tv and specially music channels  and so I know a lot of music,  I love it, I can´t live a day without it.

I like playing soccer, my favorite team is "la catolica" but I have to say  I don´t watch a match since a lot of time, I´m a bad, lazy, poor(cdf premium is so expensive) fan. hahhaha.
